I've been a bit busy-body lately, working on commissions and prepping for Anime Expo. ^^ I really want to have a bunch of new items and cool things at my booth this year, hopefully I can find enough time to get it all done! =]

I watched Anime Expo's AX Live earlier (their weekly live broadcast about AX news along with anime, figures, and game news), and they announced a few guests. The highlight of their show seemed to have been the announcement of the Guest of Honor, composer Yuki Kajiura. The chat room blew up with soooo many "OMG"'s and "YESSSS"'s, definitely a lot of enthusiasm. I didn't quite share the excitement, I had to look up who she was....;;; BUT, after a quick Wikipedia search, I do recognize her work in the animes I've seen and video games I've played. I'm glad that her appearance is making a lot of fans happy. =]

They had mentioned in last week's show about addressing the problem of X-games being held during the same weekend as Anime Expo, but it seems like it will be postponed until next week. It does sound like a major problem, I'm sure they need more time to tend to all the legal troubles and potential problems. I'm guessing they don't want to announce anything until they can offer the proper solutions and ratifications for any complications that may ensue.

As an exhibitor, they haven't mentioned anything to me yet either. Supposedly the streets will be blocked off for the X-games, exhibitors may have a hard time unloading or even re-stocking when the time comes. I wonder if they were worried that if told us this beforehand without offering a solution, it would scare off many exhibitors.  If they present a problem, it would be logical for them to also present a reasonable solution at the same time.  

I wonder what guests would be announced next. =]
